Good news, breast cancer patients!
A judge struck down Myriad's patents
on the BRAC1 and BRAC2 genes.
I was a plaintiff in the case and
am happy to hear this ruling!

patenting of human genes, a judge struck down a company’s patents on two genes linked to an increased risk of breast and ovarian cancer.
